Trot Times for June 9, 2013

Another quick look at the day's trots…

Home Run of the Day: Matt Holliday, St. Louis Cardinals – 24.86 seconds [video]
Tied at four at the end of nine innings, the Cardinals somehow won this game 11-4 in ten innings. This grand slam from Matt Holliday in the tenth had a lot to do with that.

Slowest Trot: David Ortiz, Boston Red Sox – 29.4 seconds [video]
Two home runs in two days for Big Papi. Also, 59 seconds on the basepaths trotting out his homers over those two days. That's a bit slow.

Quickest Trot: Derek Dietrich, Miami Marlins – 16.7 seconds [video]
If Dietrich keeps running out his home runs like this, I have no choice but to keep loving the guy!
