Trot Times for July 1, 2013

A short day on Monday means we only have a few trots to look at today. Let's get to it!

Home Run of the Day: Bryce Harper, Washington Nationals – 17.49 seconds [video]
Two pitches into his return to the lineup after missing a month on the DL, Bryce Harper reminded everyone why they missed him so much. His 17.49 second trot was definitely quick, but still not fast enough to break through a wall.

Slowest Trot: Rickie Weeks, Milwaukee Brewers – 23.63 seconds [video]
Sixteen home runs and the slowest trot of the day was only 23.63 seconds? Bad luck for Weeks.

Quickest Trot: Bryce Harper, Washington Nationals – 17.49 seconds [video]
Harper beat out Ryan Roberts by more than 1.5 seconds for the quickest trot of the day. For his part, Roberts' two trots on the day were both under 20 seconds long. The only other trot in the 19-second range came from Omar Infante, who clocked in at 19.95 seconds.
